Ali Kazemi is an Iranian Tar player and composer living in Tehran. He graduated from Art University of Tehran in Iranian classical music. He has released five albums and collaborated with several groups such as Haftgâh ensemble (2006-2008) directed by Daryush Talai and Kalhor Ensemble (2012) led by Keyhan Kalhor. Ali Kazemi won the Seventh International Farabi Award and the Grand Prize of the Mugham Festival with Nasim-e Tarab Ensemble. He cofounded Raha ensemble in 2007.
