Horan Sounds is a live music production and booking agency based in Paris, working on traditional music projects from Central Asia, Near Eastern countries and Iran.
Arash Saidian is an Iranian Oud player living in Tehran. He started learning music playing percussions such as Daf and Tonbak. He then learned Oud playing with Hossein Mehrani, Mohammad Reza Ebrahimi and Hadi Sepehri. Interested in Iranian Oud playing method (different from Arabic and Turkish style), he participates in its development by transcribing of other instrument’s repertoire, adapting them to Oud technics. He also arranged numerous famous pieces for Oud. He has participated in several live and recording projetc. Arash Saidian teaches Iranian music in Gilan university.
