Parviz Abdollahi is an Iranian Gharneh and Laleva player living in Amol. He learned Laleva playing with his father at the age of 10 and later with Hamid Talebi and Lotfollah Seyfi. Interested in the manufacture of different kind of Mazandarani wind instruments, he made long research trying to adapt Gharneh to other style of music and made some changes in the structure of this instrument. He performs in several groups and participate in many live and recording various projects. Parviz Abdollahi won the first prize of Fajr international music festival in 1999 as soloist and he was recognized as a national maestro in Kerman music festival in 2015. He is the founder of Delband music ensemble.
